Presentation planning

Today I fully focused on my presentation and making it up to date with what I have done, I have completed most of my slides and I have chosen to print the slides onto a science board to present I will do that next week though. I have not added photos yet but I will do that as soon as possible and I still have to take photos of when I assemble the components. I am currently focusing on up loading my presentation to blogger but I just have a link at the moment. Here is the link to my presentation. https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1700vQsZZ0TaP5mBfws73T5qQK5JT3okcJfR00ITKgfo

Planning ahead

At this moment in time I don’t have the electric motor and ESC because they are still in the shipping process, but I do have a confirmation email they they have been shipped and should be here by the 13 of September to the 20th of September which leaves me in a delema because presentation is on the 27th so I will be very pressed for time but if I do my presentation now I won’t have to worry about it in the future so I should be able to pull it of.  Once I have all the components ( ESC, ELICTREC HUB MOTOR AND BATTERIES) I will assemble them and attach them to the board at home and take pictures of what I do to add to my presentation.

Impact project Week nine

Today I finished the container that will go on the under side of the board for my electric skateboard build. The container will hold the ESC witch is like the control centre of the whole build and the batteries witch are key for how far you will be able to travel using the board. Today I also searched for some reasonably priced batteries that I can quickly get my hands on and that will fit in side the container because the batteries I had weren’t able to ship to Gisborne, this has set back my project quite a bit but I will keep working on it. The hub motor and ESC plus the controller are on their way and will be here by the 20th of September easily.

Impact project reflection Week five

Today I  measured all the components and made sure that they would all fit on the underside of my skateboard, I also made sure that the components wouldn’t hit the ground when I was skating. At the moment I am waiting to get the components and connect them to the board. Next week I will build a container for my batteries and ESC to rest inside under the board.
